We have 160 well-spaced pitches, many of which are hardstanding. Most of the pitches have electric hook-ups fused at 16 amps (you will need a 20m hook-up cable). There are a number of different areas available for you to choose from.
Forest View and Golden Meadow – Family Areas
Forest View is our family touring and camping area. It has a mixture of hardstanding and grass pitches, all with electric hook-up. It is located close to our new toilet block which includes a family bathroom and a disabled bathroom.
It also overlooks the children’s play area and the large recreation field.
For a limited period in the summer, we also have camping (tents only) in Golden Meadow which is a large grass area with some electric hook-ups. This is a large grass area stretching out to Horseshoe Lake, our family fishing lake which is fenced off for safety. You can choose where to pitch within this area with the exception of marked pitches with electric hook-ups.
Woodland Grove ‘Adults only’ Area
This area is a mixture of hardstanding and grass pitches, all with electric hook-ups, surrounding one of our fishing lakes. It is surrounded by trees on the outside with a grass area in the middle. Most pitches have a view of the lake, and some are right on the edge of the lake where if you wish you can fish directly from your awning. Due to the proximity of the lake, this area is reserved for customers aged 18 years and over.
Please note a lake aerator runs during the day and night which may be heard by customers close to the lake side. If you are concerned please discuss with a member of staff before booking your pitch.
Wild Haven – ‘Adults only’
A haven of peace and tranquillity surrounds the beautiful wildlife lake. It is again a mixture of hardstanding and grass pitches, all with electric hook-ups. Due to the large number of nesting birds, this small area of the site is reserved for customers over the age of 18.
(Please note that due to health and safety reasons relating to the open lakes, the ‘adults only’ areas are strictly for over 18’s. This includes all visitors.)
Caravans must be towed by a private car, and no commercial or sign-written vehicles are permitted on the park.
