What you need to know

The site has automatic barriers on the entrance and exits. You will be issued with a card for the duration of your stay, for which we will need a £10 cash deposit. No vehicles are allowed to enter the site after 11:30pm (although you can exit at any time). If you return to site after 11.30pm you will need to park your car in the car park and walk to your pitch. Please note we do not allow sign written vehicles on site.

A strict 5mph speed limit operates on the park.Please note 75mm (5mph) speed ramps are present on roads throughout the park.

Check in time is from 12 noon onwards. Latest check in (by arrangement) is 10pm. Arrivals after this time will need to park in the late arrivals area. Check out time is 11am. If you wish to stay later (subject to your pitch not being occupied that day) you can pay the late stay fee of £4 and stay until 4pm. (This can only be confirmed on the day of departure, please ask at reception).

Dogs are welcome on site but must be on a lead at all times. Dogs are not allowed on pitches in Wild Haven due to the large number of nesting birds in this area.

If you are using a Sat Nav to find the site, it will get you to New Road, but not to the site itself. Follow the brown tourist signs once you turn into New Road.

BBQs are permitted on site so long as they are raised off the ground. BBQs must burn charcoal only, no wood burning is allowed (even twigs). No fires are allowed anywhere on site, even in fire buckets, chimineas or any similar thing. If you burn wood you will be asked to leave the site immediately.

Electric hook ups are fused at 16amps and have round blue caravan connections. You will require a 20m lead to link your unit to the hook-up. If you unit is more than 20m from the nearest hook-up we will lend you an extension cable in return for £20 deposit. Please note that these hook-ups are designed to support low wattage caravan and camping appliances, and are not suitable for domestic appliances or electric heaters.

Please remember that the site is a forest environment with minimal lighting at night. Please be careful when moving around the site at night and remember to bring a torch.
